I have a lot to catch up on. Mid June we left Dublin for San Francisco, and all of a sudden August is around the corner. A lot has happened, in particular-and likely the highlight of my summer-a backpacking trip with a fabulous Women’s only company called Trail Mavens. But that deserves it’s own post. Our Wedding
I’ve struggled to find words to describe the day. It was, surreal, incredible, filled with so much love and happiness. Nothing could have prepared us for it. It flew by, like everyone said it would, and yet I’ve never felt more present in my life. Lately: To America and Back.
The last two months have been, to say the least, a whirlwind. In two of those weeks I flew eight flight segments and over 10,000 miles. From Dublin to Amsterdam and back, to San Francisco, Denver, Washington State, to Los Angeles. Now, I’m back in Dublin. I have been for bit and yet, I’m just now feeling like I’m actually home, processing all that happened since mid March.
The 26th Year in Review
In a few days I’ll leave my mid twenties and enter my late. I feel like I just wrote my 25th year post, and the past two years have been an absolute whirlwind. It’s been an incredible year, and so much has happened. So, what did 26 look like for me?
It was a year of new, and firsts, and constant change. And probably far too much time spent in airports.
